CAN YOU USE SOFTBALL CLEATS FOR FOOTBALL (OR VICE VERSA)?
No, and it’s not a minor difference. Softball and baseball cleats have a front toe cleat for digging in at the plate and sharp, position-specific metal or molded spikes — football has no toe cleat, uses rounder plastic studs, and metal studs are banned outright. Baseball/softball cleats also lack the padding and thickness football demands, which raises injury risk. If you’re stocking both sports, they need to be two separate SKUs, not one crossover product.
